Was wondering if anyone knew of a good place to get petrified wood rocks, are they considered wood or rocks?! i dont know! but was hoping of finding some to add to a 75g tank im thinking about rescaping. thanks in advance!

Petrified wood is rock. The original wood had been replaced by minerals so in fact there is no wood remaining in it . Most petrified wood is safe for aquariums, but some may contain minerals that will dissolve and leach out . Those would most likely only have the effect of hardening the water rather than being toxic though .
Got mine from a masonary supply store in Marpole under the bridge. Great prices.
