    Try these folks:

Ferret Information Rescue Shelter & Trust Society (FIRST)

Good luck with the ferret hunt! I used to keep five of the furry critters back in the '80's and I absolutely ADORED them. Very clever, very mischievous and very loveable.

The only problem is the mess they make. I couldn't train either of the two I owned. Poop hidden everywhere.

They are definitely mischievous too though, I loved that about them. Once my wallet went missing under the bed, it turns out he stole all the paper bills out of it too just to stick it to me even further and hid them in different areas.

My cousin might be selling her two everything included. She has to go into BC housing and will need to re home adopt out or sell her 12 cats, 2 dogs 2 ferrets and a bird. No bad comments please.

I would prefere he not get a ferret but I think a trip to the SPCA might change his mind if he sees a needy cat or kitten.
Trouble sorry to hear about your cousin but the good thing is they will have affordable housing!!

Ferrets are great, they are really smelly unless you keep on top of the cage/ litter box cleaning though. Another thing to consider is that they should be kept in two's.
I had 5 until I developed allergies, the FIRST ferret society is wonderful!
