Looking for portable docking........

speakers for camping and around the house. I like it small enough to fit into my suitcase but have great sound with nice bass. I want it to be rechargable so I can take it to the beach and last a few hours at least. Let me know what you have or like the best.

My buddy bought this one: Bose SoundDock Portable Digital Music System (43085) - Black : Dockable Speakers - Best Buy Canada from FS, and brought it to Cauncun at the beach and pool. Good treble and bass, we rocked it hard. Try it out if its not out of your price range.

I guess I should say I am hoping to keep it around $150 or I would get the Bose for sure.

I found from BB\FS that you won't get good bass or crisp treble and a loud volume from less than $300.

We went for a $150 system, from walmart and it sucked, we got rebate opportunity though. Be sure to try before you buy, or you'll be sadly disappointed.

BTW I was just recommending the ipod speaker\dock as it was, not as a brand name. I've tried some BOSE system that have really disappointed me TBH.
