Hello. those tanks are cool. i clean one for a company, there's looks like a widescreen TV. but they have had some problems with it. the digital display part quit working and they had to do something with the wires, not sure but it looks like they did it to run a heater. and there's has metal support braces across the middle on top that have rusted a lot. other than that it has been good and is very cool to see a tank hanging on the wall. Cheers
Have a friend on the board who has a similar less hi-tech unit. I'm kinda interested in finding something like his eventually. Look cool and with a school of cardinals, rummies, and pygmy catfish, it would look very nice.
20g in my family room; everything controllable from a keypad. Replaced built-in filter boxes with two U4, replaced the T8 light and have to splice in a thermo-coupler.
Condensation on the light fixture is an issue if kept the top covered. 35+ cardinal tetras, 8 gold rams and a few bristle nose plecos.
2g in my bathroom; one of my favorite tank - where I keep a few my culled male endlers. No electronic in this one
and 20g sitting on my laundry room waiting for the themo-coupler to be replaced (coming up for sale soon). Complete with filter, heater, light and controllable air pump.
Got the pleasure of seeing the one in Gordon's family room recently.....very nice tank indeed! Though the Amazon price is a bit up there, wouldn't mind having one myself.
