site a bit slow

The site has seemed a bit slow for the last couple of days i have noticed.

I am wondering if it's being caused by the banner rotation script. I have removed it for the time being to see if that's the cause, if so i might have to find a different system.

Lol. Thought the slowness was due to my internet provider and/or wireless router.

The fixed banners of the sponsors were fine .. That new, more like spam banner system, really slowed down page loading.
The banners for sponsors , one per page load were fine , no slowdown.. The rotating banners made page loading a slug.

i definately noticed the slowness, everytime it took a while was when one of the advert sites were being queried

Much faster than when that rotating banner is on .. The fixed banners of the sponsors had no effect on speed .. only that new rotating one .. Yes.. Much faster now it is not there .
