Default FS Leucistic Axolotl's with Iridophores!!

15 juvenile axolotl's available of the 44 from this years spawn.

They are all leucistic, meaning, white bodies with black eyes & pink gills, but several are developing fairly pronounced iridophores. This is not commonly found in leucistics, but thanks to mom & dad's genetics, some will have shiny, gold coloured pigmentation throughout their bodies. They are all poss. het for albino as dad is albino. They are averaging 3.5" in length, feeding great on frozen bloodworms & frozen brine shrimp and should be able to do our axolotl pellets within the month

They are still currently getting 100% daily water changes, but able to do a sponge filter.

$35/ea + free 1lb. bag of pellet food.

3 left from the ones ready to go as 5 are on hold. As they are still receiving daily water changes, they don't currently need a cycled tank. A 2 gallon with sponge filter would suffice for now

10 more on hold & since we'll be holding 1 or 2 back, there's 30 available TOTAL. Approximately 7 that are of appropriate size to go

Hey Grete, those look very interesting, how hardy are they? what type of care and maintenace do they require, can they live in a Community tank or are they souly on there own or with there own kind?

They're super hardy little guys. When we were testing out our bagging abilities & how well they traveled, we'd drive around with around 8 bagged & in a cooler in the trunk for 12+ hours. No casualties ever

They say to do species only, but I've had endlers in with them for a few weeks & none have disappeared so far I wouldn't put larger fish in, but small dither fish don't seem to harm them... although there is a possibility of the fish disappearing.
