I totally agree, plan on having a little wood and a couple plants in mine too

    Hey everyone,
So its been a few weeks since we posted last, but its been crazy busy.
Our trip to Calgary with the auto feeder was a success. We went with the one everyone suggested from j&l and it was cheaper then.we all thought $24.99. Score! While we were there we picked up some growth pellets for the feeder. The discus love them.

So we had no more room in out living room/ dining room so we put the discus on the back counter, in which was the most perfect idea ever! It's right beside a sink so my water changes are a breeze! Takes me no more then 15 minutes to drain and fill!
I use one hose to spot clean up the the mess, then when that's done I put in another hose to make the drainage twice as fast. Once I'm at 90% I turn on the python and start filling. No buckets to drain, and my arm gets a warm bath everytime.
I've been really tired as I've gone back to work so I've been doing wc every other day. Nick helps as well. I've been sick since Saturday so he had been on top of it!
The discus tank is the easiest to clean even though it needs to done 5x as much as any other of our tanks.
Here are a few pics, I will go take some more soon and add them, these pics are of my wc setup.

Looking good. I can see that 2 or 3 are pretty big already.

So how long did you go without WC when you went to Calgary?
