Discus Grow Out Contest Official Rules & Entry Thread

I think that's a better idea than having a huge long thread here. Once a month pick one photo from each contestant and have a new thread: Discus growout contest - Feb (or Mar or whatever) progress. That way, the individual threads will be there to see each contestant's progress, but we can also go to that thread to compare "mano a mano" to see the results.

Excellent idea, I will try to do that at the end of each month.

I recently met a grandpa Discus keeper for over 40 years and he pointed out all my mistake from a year ago. Lol
He's a family friend from Hong Kong. He think it's pretty neat we have a fish forum group here.
I'll give these fish another shot in the fall. Definitely need to pay a visit to your farm then!!

I promised to make the grow out contest an educational experience for all and as part of that I will be writing articles pertaining to various aspects of discus care as they arise through out the contest. Here is the first one:

Great idea with the article. Well written and informative. It's things like this that I believe can make the difference between a mediocre experience with raising fish and a great one.
