The big day has Finally arrived! I am on my way to pick up 6 wonderful baby discus from Rick and start my adventure!
This is what I will start with:
A bare-bum 25gal tank with an older canopy with a (17W?) fluorescent light. An Aquaclear 30 with sponge, floss, and carbon, an air-stone powered by an Elite 801. Trying out one plastic plant and a chunk of driftwood.
This is what I will do to start with:
1/3 - 1/2 water change every other day. Treating with Aqueon brand water conditioner (good sale). Run the tank at approx. 28 degrees C. Feeding frozen bloodworm, New Life Spectrum Discus sinking pellets, and high quality colour flakes - if they likey. Feeding will be 4 times a day - the only plan is the pellets around noon with an automatic feeder (wish me luck on that one)
My grand display only hours before stock arrives...
