Thanks everyone for so much well-wishing!! - It all goes straight to the little ones!

For an update- It wasn't more than three hours til they all came out of the corner and started snooping and picking. I fed them Fr. Bloodworms and they went at them big time! From about 3 pm til bedtime - midnight (so late for me ) they ate 4 times. They do like the little discus pellets and, of coarse, Bloodworms.
I also thru in some java moss for foraging. The smaller ones seem to like it for sure. We shall see how long greenery lasts. If it's too much or too dirty, it's out of there!

From the random scoop out of Rick's stock tank, I have 2 sm. 2 med. 2 lg. - compared to each other. They are so fun to watch, as there is a definite pecking order - especially when there is food around! But, everyone of them gets what they want to eat, so that's good!

    FYI - I started a youtube channel also, Jasonator604's Channel - YouTube

Some great points there. Discus do establish a pecking order so it helps to spread the food out and give everyone a chance or else the big 1 or 2 can sit on top of it and keep everyone else away. From the looks of it you have enough circulation that the food will get spread around on it's own which is perfect. The video looks great. It's nice to see the little guys in action

Been awhile since any update - I've started a new job and been swamped !!
    Things are getting settled tho

Since the new job, I can't be here to feed them a hundred times a day... so, 4 - 5 times is ok.
They are growing, tho. The 2 bigger ones are growing faster so it seems, and the 2 mid-sized ones are right behind them, with the 2 smaller ones way behind and more timid. The smaller ones are usually darker, but colouring up nice and fast.

They get friendly right after a water change.

They are looking good, getting nice and thick. The 4-5 daily feedings will certainly keep them growing well

Their diet is still frozen bloodworms and New Life Spectrum Discus Formula. I picked up a pack of frozen Hikari Discus cubes, but they don't devour them like I like to see. The Hikari cubes has a lot of stuff in it, such as shrimp, squid, brine shrimp, and the little ones didn't take to it and there was a lot of extras laying around. All my other fish love the stuff, tho!! I have an order of organic beef heart coming in a couple days, so I think I will make a formula for them. We shall see what kind of concoction I can come up with...
The tank is still a balmy 30 degrees C and the T5 light is on 16-ish hrs a day and they don't see too much activity, as the tank is in the bedroom.
Still doing about 80-90% water change daily, but I have missed a couple here and there. Today I had to do a total tear down - put the kids in a bag and floated them in my Rams tank while I scrubbed the life out of the tank in the bathtub. And scrubbed the filters and heater... wow things are dirty already! They really seem to appreciate the spotless home. Although I wipe everything down every other day, the tank got slimy and greasy quicker each time. These little discus are way dirtier than I remember.
