    Hi Charles,

I don't know anything about daphnia but I've heard that they can live in a tank for awhile, and that my killifish might like them.

Do you have any daphia that I could put directly into my tank? Or is a daphia culture something like a microworm culture, where you grow them in another container, wait awhile, and then add them?

yes, they are just free swimming. Patrick has those. If you want them, I can have him to drop them off here.

Hi Charles, I would really like that (to have daphnia dropped off at your place) Can you let me know when you have some in -- no rush. I can come to your place this week on Friday afternoon or the weekend, or certain days next week or next weekend. Just let me know your availability. Much appreciated.

Morainy: I have the daphnia. So let me know a good time so we can meet up. Friday afternoon is prefect. Give me a call to confirm time.

Charles & Patrick, thank you for the daphnia. I am sure that my fish will be thrilled. Patrick, thank you for dropping the daphnia off at Charles' place -- it's much easier for me to get to his place by transit than to yours.

Charles, as always, thank you for the excellent information and instructions. With all your help I am now confident enough to start breeding daphnia on my own. Visiting your place is just like visiting the Vancouver Aquarium -- only with a private tour. :-)
