Default Light fixtures samples - Dec/24/2011

Quickly done some cell phone photos for a few light fixtures that we have. Not the best photos but will give you some idea of how it looks over tanks.

    Setting:
Every light is off except the aquarium light. No flash.

LED 600 model. one with all led light on, the other with only led moonlight on. The fixture itself is no more than 1" thick. The LED although is lower power, but there are very many of them and closer together 129 individual led in the fixture, it does spread out the light very evenly over the tank.

    LED 200 model.

LED 1w model, only 52 individual LED for this 36" fixture (same length as the 600 model with 129 individual LED) but the wattage is 1watt per LED.

HOT5 dual 36" fixture - having an exteral ballast has two advantage with this fixture: 1) if the ballast breaks, you can replace it easy, 2) the fixture is thin without the HO ballast inside the fixture.

HOT5 trio 36" fixture - great digital timer. Comes with optional legs which you can flip the fixture upward. The fixture comes with 3 x 6500k light (1 switch for 1 6500k, another switch for 2 x 6500k) and 3 pairs of 2 LED moonlights.

timer on the HOT5 36" fixture

Those are very nice lights. The triple would be a fantastic light for planted tanks...if only I wasn't going all LED soon.

Very nice looking lights, Charles. Do you think that the 36" LED 600 would work well for a planted 22 super long?

I think it will as your 22 is not deep at all. But I cannot ensure how well it will work.

Would do you happen to have something in the 18" length? Doesn't happen to be Led but enuff for a 12 gal planted with low tech plants.
