Default More photos of the new arrival - Jan/12/2012

    Discus - Maracana - semi-royal - 6"-6.5"

    Discus - Heckle - blue face - 5.5"-6"
Still recovering, will have photo once they are better
Can't get a good photos of them. The flash washes off the blue completely. But you can see the blue stripes going full body.

L14 sunshine - 10"+ - got to come and see these beauty

    L15 candy stripe - 4" - full size adults.
It is the stripe fish behind the L48.

L29 Vampire - from Brazil, smaller spots, longer snout, and lower dorsal - 4.5"-5" - the new photo shows better that the spots on these L29 is actually a bit orange compare to the white spotting of the common L240 Vampire.

L47 Mango - 5"-6" - I think these are the biggest, healthest mango I have bought in. In the past, only the 3" or under are available and they are not very hardy. - hard to get photo of. Always at the back of the tank.

L48 Scobinancistrus cf. pariolispos - 3"-3.5" - Think of it like a sunshine pleco but black and white.

    L177 queen nugget - 3.5"-4"

L377 tiger peckoltia - 3.5"-4" - interesting pattern. Some looks like L333 imperial king tiger hyprancistrus pattern on a peckoltia body.

Black xantus - 6"-7" - you also have to come and see these beasts. - for size comparison: on top of the fish, it is a maxijet 1200. Compare that to the head of this xantus, and this one is the smallest one.

Mostly black with some yellow xantus - 5" - not as much yellow as I would like it to be...

stingray henlei - 10"-11" - one is very very black. I thought it was a leopoldi but it is a henlei. And she has some nice smaller spots as well. - cell phone photo. You can sort of see the smaller yellow spots.

I think you would be ok with a Scobiancistrus. My L368 never touch the glass, and I'm pretty sure when Luke78 had his big one it was in an acrylic tank. So go for it. Great fish at a good price.

scobiancistrus is usually safe. It is the panaque you want to stay away for plexi tank.

Gonna add my experiences with my previous L14 with those whom have an acrylic setup, these guys wont attach themselves to the tank itself. Not once did i see it pick a side and stay there. They do need some form of cover to feel safe and secure(driftwood, rock or stone,Manzanita wood, some sort of man made cave).Mine spent its time beneath the manzanita stump and claimed their spot. Not a fussy pleco whats so ever, ate just about anything i put in,didnt mind the smaller cories around it, likes a bit of flow going through it setup, likes warmer water, did get a bit territoral with fish the same size or bigger if they came close to its spot.

    All the xantus black gone...

A mango is put on pending. Come see them. You will like the size.

L177 is getting picked up daily. If you want to be picky of how it looks, big spot small spot etc, don't wait till last minute. They are good size. Not small at all. Mostly 4".

L48 is also being picked up. They get darker everyday.
