just a note, i noticed you had a flying fox listed on your stock list with the scientific name Crossocheilus siamensis. They're actually two different species of fish, but commonly mislabeled even from the most reputable fish sellers

heres a linky explaining the differences between the similar species (theres more than just those two). Crossocheilus siamensis is the only one of them to eat red/black brush algae

Thanks. The ones I'm ordering are those which have the black lateral line which runs through the tail. I made sure of it when I ordered it. So unless they still ship me the wrong stuff, it will be the Crossocheilus siamensis that I ordered.

i was refering to a discrepancy on the websites stock list, it says
    flying fox - Crossocheilus siamensis
since the flying fox is actually Epalzeorhynchus kalopterus, figured i'd bring it forth

Also, they both have the stripe go through the tail, the flying fox though has a golden line above the black stripe, and the line through the tail is broader/darker than Crossocheilus siamensis. They both are excellent algae eaters, but the flying fox isn't the one that eats brush algae.

A while back i looked into which are which because a LFS sold me flying foxes as SAEs when i was specifically looking for a brush eater. on the flip side some look for the flying fox as they are better looking than SAEs
