Magdalenae stingray or common trade name - red stingray

It doesn't have red red color. It is more of a rusty red. Though the pattern is quite nice on this female. She is about 6" across and very nice full tail on her as well.

A couple photos of the spotted headstander... Quite an unique fish...

Actually, a lot more red in them now that mine has had a chance to settle in since Monday. Good looking batch, mine is eating frozen blood worms already and has started to peck at frozen brine shrimp

I have them in 6.5 ph now. The temperature is at 78F.

The key also is low current. If you run a powerhead, they will get blow away and stuck on the side of the glass all the time. Give them a quiet with less current space, they will be happier.

Mine are fitting in nicely in my tank. Their stripes are darkening and they are eating frozen blood worms and nibbling on my plants. They do seem to enjoy swimming into the flow from my spray bar. Thanks Charles

Mine is at ph of 5.5 and at 82 degrees with 3 domestic discus and 2 domestic angels.

As Charles said, in the beginning, they have no idea what to do with currents but they figure it out eventually. I run a FX 5 two aquarclear powerheads and 2 Korali powerheads in my 72 gallon(yes, I believe in over filteration) and the Altum I got from Charles Monday seems to have adjusted just fine
