Gymnogeophagus balzanii. They are 3.5"-4.5" big. Quite a funny face. Short body compare to most geophagus/gymnogeophagus. A mature male will grow a hump on the head. Quite an unique fish.

Metunnis mola - Spotted silver dollars. 3" and up. Very active fish. Eat just about anything in the tank. Lots of action and doesn't seem to stop swimming. If you are into silver dollar type fish, this will be a good addition to your tank. Something you don't find everyday.

Aphyocharax rathbuni - Green fire tetra. 0.75"-1". They prove to be very hard to photograph. Never stop moving. And hard to capture the true color of this tetra. The fish actually has a greenish body with bottom half body with red color.

Aphyocharax rubripinnis - blood fin tetra. 1" and up. This photo is taken by Patrick. A truely beautiful fish. Very shinny green-ish or blue-ish body with nice red over the fins and tail.

I guess higher temps are not ideal for the blood fin tetras?

    adanac50,

I have about 40 of these guys in with my Discus, and i can tell you at 28-29C these guys have some nice strong red, silver, light green fade, a bit of white to the tips of their fins. They dont mind it at all and very active.Underated tetra if you ask me.After some research, some sources say that they are found in cooler waters which may be true depending on location, but in lower temps the colours are not as bright and deep.

No problem, not fussy eaters and will take anything you put in(i feed flake, bloodworms, blackworms, brine shrimp) and they arent easily scared of you as most fish are if someone comes up to close to the aquarium, shadows,or quick movement.Males are more slender and a bit smaller, females a bit plump and the males will have a bit of a hook on their anal fins.Hope that helps out a bit.

Just measured a Balzanii when I bagged a trio. They were all 4.5".
