Default New/used lighting/heater super sale! updated ***BONUS ADDED***

Well, I've been asked by many people on when I'm going to have a sale on my lights and for hardware items, I don't typically have sales. However, this time of year, people have limited funds for getting what they need for their tanks so why not make it easier for them?

I'll have up soon the prices for new and used heaters. I thought I'd give people the heads up first.

For the T5 HO fixtures, these include all the Sunblasters I have in the 2', 3', and 4' lengths as well as the reflectors.

Sun Blaster fixtures. They come complete (wires, ballast, and 6400k grow bulb) , just plug and turn on. They don't come with reflectors but it can be purchased separately.

All brand new Sun Blaster fixtures with 6400k bulb in sealed packaging:
    ****BONUS****
for every $50 spent on the sale priced sunblaster fixtures and bulbs, I'll give you a replacement bulb for free

2 foot fixture (2 available) $25 each or two for $45
3 foot fixture (last one pending) $27 each or two or more for $25 each
4 foot fixture (4 available) $29 each or two or more for $27 each or 4 for $100

    Reflectors for 2', 3' a,d 4' sizes are $8 each

6400K Replacement HO bulbs are $10 each for all sizes. But Buy THREE replacement bulbs for only $25 (or $8.30 each if you get 3 or more bulbs)

I've also got one used 5' T5 strip (I think it's HO) for sale. It works great and is selling for only $20

This is what a single strip looks like with the extra reflector on a 22g long tank. It grows plants nicely and it's VERY bright as it's a T5 High output fixture/bulb.

I've also got a very excellent condition 4 foot Hagen Glo dual T5 High output fixture with almost new plant bulbs (very little use) with original legs and hanging kit. This awesome setup for only $100

I've also got an All Glass 4 foot 2x65w compact flourecent fixture. Comes with two used bulbs. One looks a bit pinkish so likely a grow bulb and the other looks like a 6400k bulb. This fixture for cheap! First $45 takes it.

Heater and prices will come up soon......

    Brand new submersible heaters
    3x 50 watt $15 each or 2 for $25
    2x 150 watt $17 each or 2 for $30
    2x 300 watt $25 each or 2 for $45

Used Tronic heaters with heater guard.....
    200w with heater guard $20
    250w with heater guard $22

    Cheers

Do these have it's own cover or do they have to be put over glass for protection from the water?

Hi Pat - It's a long shot but thought I'd ask: have you got any of those little pad heaters left that you want to get off your hands? The last one was perfect for my betta tank (thanks).

I bought one of his sunblaster lighting system and it doesn't have protection. So your tank should have a lid of some sort so water won't splatter on the fixture. Unless you hang this high enough over the tank if you don't have a lid

Unfortunately they don't have any protection from splashing. Even when connected to a reflector, it will help keep the bulb off the frame of the tank/glass but it's still prone to splashing.

The best thing to do is to have glass lids for your tank and have the fixture sit on top of it. Alternatively, it still can be used if there is little to no splashing.

If I bought a 2 foot fixture for $25, and three replacement bulbs for $25, would I get the 4th bulb free? Are these good for terrestrial plants? Do the reflectors attach to the fixture?

They are great for both aquatic and terrestrial plants.

The 2' fixtures are $25 each or 2 for $45

The reflectors do not attach to the fixture unless you drill holes into the reflector and then zap strap them in. If you get the two fixtures with reflectors, then I can do all that for you at no charge.

Yes if you spend a total of $50 or more I'll throw in the bulb free. I spoke to Gwyneth and she said that she may be able to pick up your order for you. So, if she does, just let me know what you'd like and I can arrange it for you. Cheers
