    Default Question and answer area...

We have had many people call, email, pm, and even come in person for questions about cycling, sick fish, how to setup a biotope, shipping fish, and etc. I thought this will be a good place to post a question and answer area.

No question is too simple to ask. And keep in mind we can only help to the best of our knownledge and through our experience. So if there is a time that we can't give you an answer, please forgive us.

Both mykiss, aka Patrick, and I will be here to check the message. So hopefully one of us will be able to offer some help.

We specialize in rare and exotic fish from around the world.

Would they end up crossbreeding with crs?

Still couldnt see an actual location of at least an area to come and pickup

The shrimp is in Richmond around No5 road and blundell road area. They are at Patrick aka mykiss 's place. I dont house any shrimp in Vancouver. Though please notice the size we sell. We don't sell the one that is already berrying; adult shrimp.

Blue pearl shrimp should not cross wtih CRS.

We most likely will not get any polypterus in. They come from area that we don't have much fish that we are interested to bring in. As a result, we will not be able to make the min. order.

Another problem is that most are exported as mis-labeled type of polypterus. When Kole was doing this type of African order, there were so many of them that they supposed to be this but exported as that.

There are still some of those fish that Kole got in a while back floating around among all the hobbyists here. Put up a LF ad. and you might be able to find some.

You will never find polypterus senegalus meridionalis. Also polypterus bichir katangae is a synonym to polypterus endlicheri congicus both are the same species.

    Hi Steve,
when we sell the shrimps, it's all random scooping. So, if you only get 2-3 shrimps, there's less of a chance to get a male and female as compared to getting 10 or more shrimps.

The shrimps sold will be 1-1.75 cms.

I'm not aware of them interbreeding with CRS as I have never kept them together. Planet inverts also says it doesn't:

Will These Shrimp Interbreed? .:. Information on keepign Freshwater Aquarium Shrimp Species in the same Aquarium without creating a Hybrid Shrimp.

If you are interested in shrimps, the pick up location is in Richmond. Cheers
