The bags are $55 each 9l bag. Each 9l bag weighs 21 pounds. If you get 2 or more bags it's $50 each. Overall, it's still cheaper than Fluval Stratum, at least the ebi anyways.

Ebi fluval stratum substrate largest size is 4kg (8.8 pounds). It retails at $25 plus taxes=$28 for 8.8 pounds. This calculates to $3.18 a pound.

If you get one bag of ADA Amazonia 9l at $55 a bag it's ($55/21pounds) $2.62 a pound and if you get 2 bags at $50 each it's $2.38 a pound

    I hope that helps.

    Hey Charles,

What is your feeding schedule for your plecos? I have been feeding the 7" red eye royal that I got from you guys algae pellets. But the other fish take off with them, even at night. I also offered him some zucchini but he wasn't really interested. I just want to make sure that he is getting enough and not starving.

Thank you Charles. Can the yams/sweet potatoes be fed as is, or do you blanche them first?

Thank you so much. I didn't think you would blanch them but just wanted to make sure. Do you have any videos of your feeding frenzies? Would love to see

    Hi Charles
Was wondering is the veggie's you mentioned enough for the plecoes as well as the wafers, or do they need other things in their diet? I also always hope they are getting enough food. Cheers Laurie
