Default South American Puffer fish - update Nov/24/2010

I am sorry for the one that reserve a few of these. None of them looks like making out of my tank alive. There were a few dead in the bags during shipping and causing damage to the still alive one.

Once again... for the one that reserved a few of SAP, you most likely will not be getting any at all.

SAPs reportedly don't ship well at all. Assuming that there are no signs of illness, I am guessing that they are super stressed; less than two weeks ago they were probably living happily in a South American river. You could try wrapping the tank in a thin sheet and keeping the light off in the tank.

I'm very sorry to hear that the fish didn't make it. Very sad for them and for you.
