    Default Video - small L190 eating - April/07/2011

These L190 red eye royal are 1.5"-2"-2.5". If you have a small tank and worry about panaque getting too large, here is your chance to try them out. They grow slow and will take time to out grow your tank. Best of all, they are not expensive as the bigger one...

$20 each or $15 each if you get 3 or more...

I turn on the light to get a video of them. There were at least 10 of those little one eating the yam. But once I turn on the light, they went away and only a few not so shy one stays on the yam.

I sold a few of these already. Give them a try...

These guys are pretty awesome. It's a good chance for someone to get into a Royal very cheaply.

They are so cute. I saw them when I was picking up LBW from Charles yesterday.

I can't tell you, Shelley. I have not tried feeding them with any worms. They prefer raw veggie.

They won't be getting any dried worms since they won't feed on the surface.

Don't they blow up if they eat a diet that's too high in protein?

Charles can correct me if I'm wrong, but all plecos, including panaque, can manage more protein in the diet when they are small. It seems it's when they get older/bigger that they have problems. My L226 and Royals get a bit of blackworms and bloodworms once or twice a week without problems. More than that and I have problems. Haven't lost a panaque in a long time now.

yes, Gary is right. I feed my tank all veggie as I have a hopefully-soon-to-be-picked-up blue eye panaque and a big yellow-ish green panaque in there at pretty good size. Don't want to risk feeding meat diet.
