    Question Baby albino BNP's

After they come out of the cave will they get enough to eat off the glass slime and will they go after the bottom pellets and wafers. There is about 3 dozen of them and they seem to like to stay on the glass a lot. Too many to catch and hard to net as well when they are only a half inch long.
All help or comments welcomed. Cheers Laurie

They'll come off the glass. You're going to want to feed them some fresh veggies if possible if you want faster growth. Big slice of zucchini will ensure everyone gets something.

Really young BNs prefer to feed on aufwuchs (biofilm) for the first little while. You'll see them on glass, ornaments, wood. They'll be interested in soft vegetables, too. Eventually they start coming in for wafer foods.

Hands down, the best foods I've used are Bottom Bites and Critter Crumbs. Critter crumbs is made by one of our members, Pamelajo.

So where can I get the bottom bites? Can I give them yam or is zuchini better?

Lots of people use both yam and zucchini, as well as other veggies. My favorites are Romain lettuce, kale and bok choy.

Look up Pamelajo in the members list and send her a PM.

I second the Critter Crumbs and Romain lettuce.

My wife tried to count them all, she figures we have about 25 to 35. I got some shrimp pellets for all the bottom guys and the babies seem to go for them as well as algea wafers and they are all over the yam piece. Love watching them dart from the glass to the bottom to the wood in little groups. A bunch of them were right beside the sterbai cories with no aggression shown towards the babies, too cool!!!
