Default Can I get another pleco?

Hello everybody. I currently have albino pleco in my 20G. He is only under 1" long and I was wondering if it would be ok to get another pleco similar size. I've been told they don't grow as big (4-5"). So I was thinking I get albino long fin to help him out with the algae. Would that be ok or you suggest to keep only one? How fast do they grow? I had regular brown pleco before and it was growing just over 1" a year. After several years it has outgrown my tank I had to find him a better home. I don't really want to go through the same, cause I get attached to my little guys.

If you get a bristlenose pleco, it will stay small, about 4 inches.

I hope you are not talking about an Albino Britlenose pleco Charles.

Just like Charles said, if it's not a bristlenose (albino or not) it's going to get huge.

I specifically asked for a pleco that does not grow big. I got him at Rogers in surrey and one of the staff members working with in the back with the fish recommended the one I got now. It's albino for sure, I don't think it's bristlenose albino. I thought they know what they talking about in the store, but obviously not! I feel cheated! I had regular pleco that outgrown my tank already and I did not want to go through that again. I guess I should have done research before or asked here.

Here is the pic of my guy. Sorry it's little blurry, he was moving a lot.

By the look of your photo, it does look like an albino bristlenose pleco. The staffs at Roger Aquatics are great. You are in good hand so don't feel cheated at all.

Your albino bristlenose will max at 4-5".
