Some interesting videos, thanks for sharing John! Talk about 'cramped' setups for some of these guys, pretty sad to see.My favorite is the unidentified pleco, looks to be a hybrid of some kind(many features of a hypan and cant guess the other)could be wrong here and i am sure the gurus will chime in for a stab at it.The 'wild' video is something else too, talk about thousands of plecos and very little visibility in those waters!

I think that first one is an L418...poor guy was so cramped, but I'm pretty sure that's a holding tank. Second tank was all awesome Pseudas I'd like to own....beautiful L25 and L24 and I think the big'un is a spinosus.

Here's some extreme pleco fishing. Love to be able to do this, may try snorkeling with salmon one day.

Gary , I'm pretty sure the one was in a holding tank too.
Although.... I have seen alot of vids with monster ones in tanks that were too small.
Some people just don't have any friggin brains.
Cool Vid Ming, looks like fun lol
here's some more just to make this thread worthwhile
this was kinda funny
Current sucker fish collection: L134, L190, L147, L377, L201, L205, L144, common pleco.
Guppies, tiger barbs, Afician Chiclids, German Blue Ram, Koi's, platies, Cory (agasszi, cw26, loxozonus, melini)
I still get a good kick at watching that video.
In most cases, yes. Snorkeling and hand catching them, but these two fellows are extreme since they live in the States and the plecos in the water channels have been released by fish owners when the fish outgrows the household fish aquarium. I'd love to go and snorkel for plecos...listen to the guys...seems they've been catching iguanas in that same water channel dyke. Problem is that there's probably giant pythons lurking around![]()
