I have my breeding group (1M & 2F) of long fin albino BNP in a 25g - along with a breeding group of red endlers. They are very happy there - there could be over 100 babies in the at any one time

I think they max out at 4" head to long tail. Clown pleco and silver tips are great for that too. I have one clown pleco and 1 BNP in a 33g with 6 large gold fish and two fly fox - all happy swimmers.

yes the Bristle Nose Plecos normally stay under 4 inches.

I have 6 breeding in a 15 gallon tank along with 8 Cories and 2 Kulii loaches and a handful of guppies.

Plecos under 4" or so that I know of:
Species in the hypancistrus, peckoltia, baryancistrus, ancistrus (bnp), otocinlcus.

    Other ones:

Well, I might be biased (having 11 of them) but I really like bristle nose plecos too!

many stay small but bristlenoses can get bigger than 10cm/4 in - maybe 14cm for my biggest male and a female almost the same.

Most of the Hypans will be smaller than 4". Some Peckoltia will get quite big.

For Hypans, the most readily available and affordable are the L201, L129, and L340. These all stay smaller than 3" max.

And of course, Otocinclus, which are in the pleco family, stay smaller than most other plecos.

Of the bristlesnose family, I believe Ancistrus claro is the smallest, but I haven't seen any around here.
