Looks like a Spotted Sailfin Pleco Glyptoperichtys gibbiceps. Nice one too!

From that pic, I'd like to say it's a Pterygoplichthys gibbiceps, but I'm sure AWW will be along at any minute now to tell me it's an L001.

Don't quote me on it, but I'm pretty sure is the Pterygoplichthys gibbiceps or what is commonly called a Sailfin pleco. Hope your tank is a pretty good size, as mine grow in just over a foot in 3 years.

No problem for quite a while then. They tend to get a bit aggressive when they get larger. My Gibbey fought with my Chocolate cichlids all the time when it got to be a foot, usually over food. :P They're very active compared to most other plecos, so I think you'll really enjoy it. Pretty good algae eater when small (< 8" or so) too.

Coming in late on this one but so cute! Mine grew to about 8 inches in the first 10 months and was very active in the tank. I love him :-)
