Default Identity please - common pleco?

I have pleco's in two of my tanks, I don't know the kinds but they look to be the same just one is smaller than the other.

I'm guessing they are plain ol' common pleco's?

    #1 - 7.5"

    #2 - 6"

6" has some orange on his fins and more yellow on his belly but the markings look the same to me.

    Thanks for looking

lol wish I could help ya with that, that ones beyond any knowledge I have. Might try a google search on them, most of the fish profiles will have that info on the page. I'm sure there will be more replies on here soon enough to help answer as well

I'm reasonably sure that John is correct and that it's a sailfin or Pterygoplichthys gibbiceps.
    Pterygoplichthys gibbiceps • Loricariidae • Cat-eLog • PlanetCatfish

Still a juvie, so it's pretty much impossible to sex, but even as adults they are hard to sex. You have to examine the genitalia. That link I provided has more details.
