Default Need help with my plecos

Hi all, i have a couple of plecos in a 20g tank with a gourami and 3 kribs (were 4 but one committed suicide about a week ago) I saw one of the plecos on the windows and he looks skinny, i have been feeding algae waffles and giving them zucchini 2 times per week. I don't know if they are not eating enough or they are not getting food at all.
I have an empty 20g that i will b moving them too to make sure they are the only ones eating but what can i feed them that will b nutritious for them and will help to gain their weight? Thanks in advance

what type of plecos? How long you have it? water parameter?
20g of water can go wrong really quickly if you overfeed, or food got leftover.

Seems like my plecos are doing much better, they dont look as skinny anymore. I did move them to a tank just for the 3 of them and i have been feeding them zucchini more often, i think they were not getting enough food but i am still checking and hopefully they are not sick

From recent research that I've done, Ancistrus and other awfuchs feeders actually like to feed constantly instead of sporadically, so unless you have a lot of algae in your tanks, you're better off feeding them a little every day rather than 2 or 3 times a week.

So you might try giving them a wafer every night after lights out and fresh veggies in smaller portions more often. I've taken to giving my smaller plecos a leaf of Bok Choy every night and taking it out in the morning. Mostly nothing left to take out by morning though.

They eat every day but i was feeding zucchini 2 times per week, now that i have seen them skinny and i was afraid of loosing them i am feeding zucchini every other day and they still get fed everyday on flakes or algae waffles etc There is no really a lot of algae in the tank and i guess the other fish were eating more and not leaving the plecos enough food, well i hope that was the case cause i dont want to loose them.

I am still checking tho, they seem ok so far but hopefully there is not anything else wrong with them
