    Default Plecos and corys?

    Hi all,
Looking for 1 or 2 plecos to (possibly) add to my 65 gallon...but I was curious about "floor space". They'd be sharing with 6 corys. I currently have 1 Bristle nose, but I really like the looks of the striped species - L46, L66, L129, L199....

Would prefer something that doesn't get to big (under 5 inches), and would co-exist well with the corys. I have lots of driftwood and other hiding spots, and spots to add a couple pleco caves, if necessary...

Other tankmates would be angels and tetras..
    Ideas?

    Thanks!
    Rich

    Rich,

Iam gonna second what charles mentioned, plus i have the same layout as you with two of the plecos you mentioned, around 15 cories, three other plecos, and two zebra otos. You may see the ocassional corie being chased away by the plecos if they are near their "spots" but all in all everyone gets along. If you have the driftwood, stones or rocks, caves, or plants in there for them to feel safe in your good to go.You might be cleaning a bit more often , but its worth it in the end.

Agree with charles and luke78 as above.
They'll fine though there is the occasional corydora that goes near a pleco territory. No harm done to the cories. Only harm is lots of poop to vacuum

My main corydora set-up is shared with a breeding quad of bristlenoses. The only conflict is when the corys get too close to the male's cave, and even then nothing really happens.
