Default Red streak on Albino BNP

The Albino BNP got into a fight with the crayfish.
There are puncture wounds on the underside of the pleco in one of the chambers that are underneath.

He has a red streak on one of the fins on the side and looks a bit reder than normal.

I put a bit of Melafix in the fish tank. And now it all smells like peppermint. It also seems to be having a negative effect on all the other fish in my tank.

The BNP is not too large about 1.5-2 inches

    What's going on... help?

If you are going to treat with meds, its better to do it in a separate quarantine tank.

I have seen red streak in fins before so I dont think its something really bad, but then again, I can't really say much without pics

There is already a sponge filter there. and an airstone instead the filter

O god, I figured out what happened... I overdosed. I put 20 ml. in my 15 gal. Becuase I mis-read the 10 ml as 5 ml. So I put two capfulls into the tank....

Well, I've still been dosing at the correct amounts now every day. The red streak has seemed to dull a little bit.

But dunno, she's acting weird. I thinks she's dyinggggg

many parasites and micro organisms will cause itching.

but, crayfish and bristlenoses are not a good mix. the bristlenoses will always loose.
