    Default Tough little pleco

I had to empty my large 150 gal tank and move all my fish and plants Sat morning due to a leaking tank. Some how I missed my butterfly pleco, he blended in with the gravel as they change colour to suit their surroundings. We found him atop the moist gravel Sunday morning 24 hours later. I picked him up and put him into the 70 gal and he just swam away like nothing ever happened.

They live in streams I believe, they are probably tough little suckers as a result of inconsistent water levels. Glad he made it, that's awesome news, what a trooper!

    Thumbs up Amazing fish!!

These BN plecoes are tough little guys as well, I was cleaning 1 of my emperor hob's and took out the suction tube to clean the media bag on the end of it. It was 3/4 of an hour before I took it to the sink to rinse it and found this little guy in the folds of the bag just above the elastic band that was holding it onto the tube, popped him back into the tank and he swam to the bottom and started cleaning like nothing had happened. Amazing fish.
