honestly I wouldnt because acei and yellow labs are the least aggressive of the african cichlids and demasoni are one of the most aggressive. but the final decision is up to you

    Hello,

I have a tank with all three species and they get along fine. But I would suggest that the acei and labs be bigger then the demasoni, because the demasoni can be more aggressive. Make sure you have lots of caves and hiding spots to be on the safe side. They are all great species of African cichlids. I'm sure you will enjoy them as much as I do.

I have limestone rocks with a few of them having holes and stuff. How big is your tank btw? Maybe demasoni's will do better with a bigger tank then mine? (50 gallon). And my yellow labs and Acei's are about 4" big now.

My tank is a 90 gallon with a mix of ten or more species. It is a bigger tank and I have many hiding spaces. But seeing that your labs and acei's are 4", I don't think it should be a problem. They should be able to hold up against demasoni.
