demisoni's with white mouths

This is a discussion on demisoni's with white mouths within the Cichlids forums, part of the Species category; does any have that in their's. it look so cute ............only a few have it so just wondering if it ...

    does any have that in their's. it look so cute ............only a few have it so just wondering if it is genetics or age maybe?

    Try to put two male in one small tank, the loser will lose it's lips.
    You can see their tiny teeth.

    A picture would help, but I agree with ninez...fight scars.

    I think i know what u mean Kathie, is like they have white lipstick on them. I think is scars from fights, i got one like that...i got that one from Zenin and they were fighting and the other ones got killed i dont know if u remember. He has that white lips but he is not sick or anything just a scar and i have other ones that are smaller and are just fine but indeed kinda looks cute cause u can see the white lips and there rest of the body is blue so lips stand out lol

    my demisoni's are too skittish to get pics . Davefrombc is my poparazi but maybe i can get a shot when the snow is gone and he can get here easier.

    I have metriaclima sp dolphin, (Giant Demasoni) they were fighting and ended up getting white mouths.

    Hopefully this works. I am not computer savvy. I did a hack job with the upload and added it to a previous photo album so there is other fish included. The Giant demasoni's Metriaclima sp Dolphin (Mpanga? going from memory) are obviously the blue and black bar.
