    I was wondering, is there any Africans that I can add to my tank that are more top of the tank fish?

    75 , mixed Africans
    33 , planted community...
    30 , fire belly toads, red zebra danios, longfin leopard danio,marbled cray,
    29 , discus growout contest
    20 , mixed shrimp, galaxy rasboras,
    20 , soon to be shrimp tank
    10 , marbled cray, endlers
    10 , cherry & pfr shrimp, crs
    2.5 , bettas
    lots of betta bowls....
    2 grumpy cats, a chocolate lab, a mated pair of leopard geckos,and a panther gecko!

    most peacocks are mid to top level in the tank. stay away from lethrinops and other haps as most are sand divers and stay near the bottom, as well as mbuna.

    Venustus and Livingstonii stayed at the top when I had them.My peacocks and Electric blue Ahli usually stay up top as well,just like Brittany mentioned.

    When I used to have an african rift lake cichlid setup. My malawi eye biter stay at the top area. Most of my predatory cichlid stay on the top or around close to mid area where they can strike down small cichlids and come back up.

    Cyprichromis leptosoma , stay in the mid to upper part of the tank...
