Geophagus Tapajo food ....???

Just wondering about different types of food since my guys seem to not like theirs anymore, I heard that you can make a blend of different items vegs, shell fish, dry fish food, and fruit, but I don't have a blender for that right now, does any one know of a good fish food geos will take to thanks.

have u tried new life spectrum? my fish go NUTS over the thera one with lots of garlic

My Geos eat Cichlid Gold and Bloodworms as a special treat. Didnt eat it for a couple weeks till they realized they wouldnt get anything else.

^I've heard NLS is very good for these picky eaters, always wanted to try it.

I feed mine NLS but they will eat anything I put in the tank havn't found them to be picky at all

I give my red head tapajos, surinamensis and balzani Tetra Color Enhancing Granules. It really gives them a lot of color and a few friends of mine who have the same geo's from the same breed have no color compared to mine, and I think it's because they don't feed them this food. Give it a try. I think King Eds has the large barell type.
