I bought this male African cichlid a few years back. He was the coolest looking cichlid in a "mixed African tank". He likes to dig alot so we call him the digger. Any help would be appreciated. I want to get him a few females but need to identify the species first.

Looked through the link posted and found some similar fish but none exactly as my guy. Maybe he is a hybrid? I will continue to look though. Thanks for the help mike
