    Default Lake Victoria Cichlids

I'm interested in turning a 75gal (one side tufa caves and crushed granite, the other a large root system and sand + a few plants) into a Victoria tank. I'm thinking about putting two species in the tank. Species of consideration: Obliquidens, Anchor Island, Dayglow, Hippo Point Salmon and Red Tailed Shellers

Does anyone have personal knowledge of these lil'fellers and is there anyone local with stock? I could order from Gills'n'Fins or Live Fish Direct (or other online source), but would prefer to shop local and inspect em before I introduce them.

    Anyone with advice or suggestions?

    In Peace: dMc.

Try Gills N Fins. I've ordered from Patrick before and he's got excellent stock and service. Never seen them offered locally.

Obliquens are really nice. I would have to think hard before going Fish Direct again.

Gills'n'Fins, Spencer Jack, or Dave's Fish have great selection.
I have updated the Victorian section on CichlidExplorer with some new and rare species.

A group of people imported a large selection of victorians last year from a guy out of germany. They have roughly 90 different species of victorians.

I will try to dig it up and see who it was. I'm sure they have fry by now.
