    Default Male or Female GT?

Is this a male or female GT? I used to think it was female but it's fins have grown in the last month. This fish is approx. 4.5". Thanks, Betty

Take a closer picture of the underbelly, see if she's ready, if it's a female, you'll see around the anal fin area a white spot about to pop eggs out and with a giant belly! Never had a male, so can't tell the difference! but that's the only way i found out mine wuz a female long ago~

As far as I know they are monogamous, one male and one female. Dont know if they stay as a pair after the babies are gone though if there are other GTs around. But they probably killed all the others anyway when they were breeding and guarding their eggs!
