    Hello all. I have liked discus for a while now, so finally i got two. so i wanted to join a group for discus but there wasn't one, so i created one. all are welcome, and welcome to share there pics, knowledge and stories Cheers
    55g, In the Wall, Planted, 2 Blue Turk Discus, 1 yellow pigeon Discus, 1 pigeon cross Discus, Electric Blue Rams, German Blue Rams, Red Eye Balloon Tetras, Corydoras, Silvertip, Bn Pleco's, African Dwarf Frogs, Flying Foxes.
    40g, Long, Discus Grow Out Tank.
    20g, Panted, Guppy's, Corydoras, Albino BN Plecos.
    5g, Nano, Amano, Blueberry shrimp, Mexican miniature crayfish .
    5g Long, Betta breeder
    1g, Betta.
    3, Betta bowls.

    Hello. just click on your profile and scroll down a bit, on the right side it will say join social groups. it will be in there. Cheers

    with discus would it be a challenge for those who hav'nt alot of experience, i mean i heard u have to do larger water changes and oftern and keep temperature high for discus., my tanks are on 26degree for the average tropicals i got yea i just feel this could be hard work to have discus tank.
    and that as they say is that.

    You need to 82 to 86 degrees.
    Also a group and very low bioload and at least a couple of times a week wc. Fair size ones or else your discus won't grow and runt out. The they get a little pointy nose, big eye..that takes up the whole front of their face. A y discus you buy you need to count at least 5-7 eyes from top to bottom. Or else runted. If you look around the forum in the classifieds and photo gallery you will see some examples of different grade discus.
    There's a few experienced keepers on here you can get advice from.
