    Default Threadfin Acara

    Hi all,

    I have 5 x 3-4" Threadfin Acaras (A. Heckelii). I am wondering how big these guys get? I've done research online and in a few reference books, I have only found conflicting info. I've read anywhere from 5" - 8" with one website stating 10".
    Fish: Its what's in the tank.

    120G - G. Altifrons, A. Heckilii, S. Daemon, Denisoni barbs and a BN Pleco

    75G - Geophagus Surinamensis, EBJD, Angelfish, Clown Loaches, Denisoni Barbs, L103 and L134

    I've generally found most of these sand shifters get 8-10"...I've mostly read 8-10" for Heckeliis
    70 Gallon Planted South American:6 Geo. Altifrons, 1 A. Heckelii, 1 KeyHole Cichlid , 2 Zebra Angelfish, 6 Blue Emperor Tetras, 4 Calico and Silvertip BristleNose Pleco
    10 Gallon Rimless Shrimp Planted:1 Otocinclus Affinis, 25~ Cherry Shrimp, 10~ Zebra Shrimp, 2 Amano Shrimp, 1 Zebra Nerite Snail, and Trumpet, Ramshorn, Assassin, and Pond Snails
    10 Gallon Shrimp Tank:10~ Yellow Shrimp,10~Caridina seratta
    10 Gallon Breeding tank:8 Clown Killifish, 1 L66 King Tiger Pleco
