    Default Tiger Oscar mouth problem

Hey, I have this tiger oscar whose about 2 inches long and there is something wrong with its mouth. His mouth is always open but everything else is fine. He is eating fine and water condition is good. I did some research about it and people said it might have dislocated its mouth. Do you guys have any knowledge of this issue?

one of my oscars ate a otto cat when he was smaller and his mouth stayed open like you described for about 4 days then went back to normal or close to normal anyway.

it looks like the skin/slime is also coming off. Check your water parameter. Dislocating jaw can be fixed as soon as it happens. If left along for a while, it will stay that way. Though from the photo, it doesn't look like it is dislcating at all.

SO the main reason to this problem may be the cause of the water condition? So if I do a water change, the problem can be cured?
