I've bought a few RCS from a couple different places and so far I only seem to have females, which I've heard isn't uncommon in retail stores. I've got a couple really bright ones and I'd like to get them breeding!

Does anyone know where I could get some? I'm assuming they'd have them at Canadian Aquatics but I'd rather not have to go all the way out there if I don't need to...
I may be heading into Coquitlam tonight so I may be able to meet you along the way
Here fishy fishy.......
CanadianAquatics
Currently breeding and have lots available of:
-Tiger, red cherry, crystal red and black, golden bee, yellow, and pearl blue shrimps
-King Tiger (L-066) plecos
-Dwarf Orange Mexican crayfish (CPO)
We also have pure Levamisole HCl for treating the callamanus worms and
we also carry "No Planaria" for getting rid of planaria with out killing your shrimps, fish and plants.
That would work great... If you end up doing that, just let me know where and when. I'm off work at 4 - so as long as it's after that I can probably do it.
That didn't pan out, so I'm still looking for now!
Mr.Pets in coquitlam has them, try calling the maple ridge location to see if they do too.
They had all of three and they all looked female from what I could see. The guy working there wouldn't give me the time of day, either. Might take a look at the one in Coquitlam, though. I always forget about that one... Thanks for the suggestion/reminder!![]()
This seems strange to me. We have heaps of males and females. I have not seen a batch yet that did not have a good mix. They breed in our systems so for sure this is so.

That's... weird. My dad picked a couple more up from you guys and I checked them and I'm 90% sure they were all female... What are the chances? I'll take a better look at what I've got until my day off this weekend and go back over there to get some more myself.
Good to know you do have males though! I guess that solves my problem either way, haha
