Default LF: Male Red Cherry Shrimp

I've bought a few RCS from a couple different places and so far I only seem to have females, which I've heard isn't uncommon in retail stores. I've got a couple really bright ones and I'd like to get them breeding!

Does anyone know where I could get some? I'm assuming they'd have them at Canadian Aquatics but I'd rather not have to go all the way out there if I don't need to...

That would work great... If you end up doing that, just let me know where and when. I'm off work at 4 - so as long as it's after that I can probably do it.

They had all of three and they all looked female from what I could see. The guy working there wouldn't give me the time of day, either. Might take a look at the one in Coquitlam, though. I always forget about that one... Thanks for the suggestion/reminder!

This seems strange to me. We have heaps of males and females. I have not seen a batch yet that did not have a good mix. They breed in our systems so for sure this is so.

That's... weird. My dad picked a couple more up from you guys and I checked them and I'm 90% sure they were all female... What are the chances? I'll take a better look at what I've got until my day off this weekend and go back over there to get some more myself.

Good to know you do have males though! I guess that solves my problem either way, haha
