Life insurance I don't think anyone would sell it, but you can buy it as property insurance in case it got stolen or nature disaster. Not sure about the power outage though.
For a true collector 9K is a small price to pay and for these ray the price is right. The shipping cost is never cheap as ray take up a lot of space.
Glad to see these fish pique curiosity and promote discussion.For a serious collector, the challenge would not be just to acquire these rays, but to breed them.
If you were lucky enough to raise the pair to maturity and successfully raise some pups, you would be in the money. I know people who have done it.
The global price for rays such as these is being set in the booming economies of Asia, not North America. Thus, these rays are unlikely to make it over here. But if anyone wants them, let me know.![]()
