Hi, do you still have these fish? I am looking for something to be tank mates with my shell dwellers. Tanganyika Cichlids: Shell Dwellers

Ideally I would like small fish (seems like these qualify), non aggressive, and that live in the mid to upper regions of the tank. My shellies stay so close to their shells, the tank is a bit boring without something in the upper area.

Sorry for the late reply, have not been around for the last few weeks. Yeah, I think the PH is wrong for these guys.....they like 6.8-7.4....I think that 8.0 might not work....I have not tried it....Also these guys live on th bottom and dig holes in the gravel to breed....probably not the best for shellies...however, they have a very non aggressive personality....
