    Default API Stress Coat

Does anyone here use stress coat? I have been using Prime for years with no problems, but I do have a flowerhorn that seems to get excess slime coat after a water change and then go back to normal. I'm not sure what he is irritated with but other fish in the tank are fine.

Just wondering if I should give it a try and see if it makes any difference and see if it will improve his slime coat

    thanks!

    Vic,

The stress coat that's used is aloe vera. I use both Prime and Nutrafin AquaPlus (which also has the herbal ingredients to protect fish...it's just aloe vera. I use to use Big Al's water conditioner and it also had aloe vera. I'm sure using it would help alleviate water change stress for the fish.
