if they're doing the dance and everything, i'm sure they've laid eggs in the tank somewhere. Put a spawning mop and you'll see eggs in them. however, seeing the type of fish in your tank, the egg is probably made into a delicious caviar snack![]()

what is a spawning mop? if i saw them actually lay eggs then im gunna seperate them and try and raise them.their is tons of hiding places and cover for them to get away from anything attacking them

Unfortunately eggs cannot run away to cover when the other fish decide to snack on them. A spawning mop is basically a mop that is just as a place for the fish to lay eggs in. There was a better video with one of these on the ground, but couldnt find it.
What is a spawning mop:

How to Make a Spawning Mop
If you place a spawning mop, the cories will lay their eggs in it. once you see the eggs in the spawning mop, then you can easily just take the entire mop and place it in whatever tank/breeder cage you want to raise the fries. It just makes it easier to collect the eggs. Just offering you some suggestions through my own personal experience.
If you see the eggs, the other bigger fish will definitely see them as well.
i'm sure the tank has some small fries; however raising the fries is a whole new challenge for the two months they're growing.
Good luck with the cory breeding.

From my own personal experiences, what i have done was lower the temps a few degrees down (depending on the species of cory),introduce plenty of live food for the entire week or more if needed(live blackworms-brineshrimp-other worms etc),smaller water changes with cooler water added, and made sure there was little too no light and all just themselves in the tank.Having other fish in there, your odds of them eggs going to hatch are very slim and become lunch for everyone else.I also littered the bottom of the tank with almond leaves which gave them cover to do their deed, and lower the water perimeters naturally. To be honest, they do need their own space if you want any success with the fry.Good luck with your efforts!
