Fishless Cycle ammonia - amount?

Did anybody here use Safeway's ammonia to do a fishless cycle? if so, how much did you add per gallon?
I'm mildly colour blin and have a hard time seeing green so the test kit is a pain.

I have a 10 gallon full of water, added a teaspoon of ammonia, and the test is green.. but i dont know how green.

I used the stuff from London Drugs, i think its from the same maker. For 45 G i used about 80 ml to get it to about 4-5ppm
