Default Get Involved in Your Community

Tanks 4Tots is a one of a kind programme that has donated a 90g system complete (tank, stand, heater, light, decor, filter, stock, food and maintenance) in to an Elderly Center also we have some smaller systems running in a local Elementry School...I'd love to see it expand into places like Community Centers, Retirement Homes, Libraries, Childrens Hospital ect...

As we all know Aquaria has many benifits, including but not limited to, Lower Stress, Lowers High Blood Pressure, people with Hyperactivity Disorders, Alzheimers...Also Educational benifits, the ability to learn about the interaction of the occupants of the said system, as well as their care, diet, water conditions, ect...

This post is to help inspire you to do something in your community, share your wealth of knowledge, see if you can set up a small 10g for a week or two at your kids school, for example...You don't need to go big, or over extend yourself, start with some baby steps, lets all get together and do something great for our communities...

Here is an Example of a Letter of Agreement...

    Agreement Memorandum

The Tanks 4 Tots Programme is a 100% free service where we place a complete Aquarium System at your premises and maintain said system at no cost to the client.
    *Other than noted below

The client is responcible for paying any electrical charges that may come with said system, and only what is mutually agreed apon with one of our representatives (to be noted on the bottom of the page). The client is also responsible for making sure their insurance police is sufficient for an Aquarium System to be placed on their premises. It is strongly recomended by The Tanks 4 Tots Programme that the client has a Ground Fault Interrupter professionally installed by a Qualified Electrician.

In no way shape or form will The Tanks 4 Tots Programme or any of it's representatives be held liable for any incidential or consequential damages that may incur; or any other injury or property damage resulting from the presence of the programme.

All systems will remain the sole property of The Tanks 4 Tots Programme and will only be removed when requested by the client or if previously designated by one of the programme representatives.

I posted today to inspire people not to ask for help or to use the Tanks 4 Tots name nor support me in any way shape or form in what I'm doing...I am however going to keep on doing my small part that I like to call The Tanks 4 Tots Programme, if it helps inspire someone to do something special then great if not then well I tried...

Hi, Tanks for Tots -- I think you are doing a great service. I've seen firsthand how much elderly people in an extended care home can benefit from aquaria. And, so can their visiting relatives, who happily push their senior family members' wheelchairs up to the fish tank to have something to talk about.

    That's fantastic Morainy...

Please no donations, instead use your spare equipment to set up in one of your local schools, library's, elderly centers ect, even if it's just for a week or two, feel free to use any part of my letter of agreement as stated above...Any questions, comments or concerns PM me, post, E-mail or phone, I'll help where I can...
