i have i little hair algae problem . would metricide get rid of this problem i always used it for my plants but i have been a little busy with fishing lately and i have a little in the tank
180g tank
2 Mbu puffers
few dwarf neons
just spot treat them it worked well in my tank with staghorn and hair algae
I'd just add 4 or so amano shrimp and let them do the job, but If the hair algae is in with the Mbu, then that's not really going to work out; well, not for you anyway, the Mbu probably wouldnt mind =P
Find a fried with an Ameca splendens and rent the fish for a few days:-)

Hello Johnny.
Why not get a Crossocheilus reticulatus from Canadian Aquatics? These guys will eat hair algae. I believe Pat has them for $20 at the moment. These guys also eat BBA.
Best Regards,
Stuart
