Default Looking for a new lighting setup..

I have been thinking about ditching the black canopy on my standard 33g tank to run an open top. What are some brands of lighting fixtures you guys can recommend? It is a planted aquarium but i am interested at trying my hand at some different plants that require more light. Looking at the dual fluorescent fixtures. Any input and opinions would help.

    Thanks, Peter

Coralife t5 HO, Hagen glo t5, oddesey t5, marineland, sunlight supply just to name a few. All depends on $$ you're willing to spend. The nicer built fixtures tend to cost abit more.
who is yo daddy and what does he do?

I've personally had great results with the Hagen GLO fixtures as well as the odyssea ones that charles sells

bang for your buck the odyssea ones are reasonably priced and have built in moonlights

I just called IPU, a 36" dual bulb fixture is $110 tax included(if I'm not mistaken) . They come with the bulbs, mounts, cable hangers and all. Here"s the link to that one I believe http://www.novaeuro.com/?a=produkty&...=6&idpodkat=49

The Odyssea fixtures seem like a good deal too, forgot about those.

The odyssea does look great for the price. Where is Charles located? Contact number?
